- Set your puzzle size to match your grid (4×4 to 9×9)
- Select the cage rule — the operation printed on the cage
- Set cells to how many squares the cage covers
- Enter the target number shown in the cage's corner
- Combinations appear instantly — use Filter numbers below them to narrow down
- Working multiple cages? Hit Track cage to pin it and configure a new one
Solving Strategies
- Start with cages that have the fewest combinations
- Check Insights — numbers that must or cannot appear are auto-detected
- Use Filter numbers to exclude digits you've already placed in that row or column
- When only one combination remains, that cage is solved
What is Mathdoku?
Mathdoku is a logic and arithmetic puzzle played on a grid. Like Sudoku, no number may repeat in any row or column. Each bold-outlined cage displays a target number and an operation — the numbers in the cage must satisfy it. Mathdoku is the same puzzle as KenKen and KenDoku, just under a different name used by various publishers.
